Maisha J. Rupanti

I am currently a senior at Thomas A. Edison CTE High School, pursuing a path in IT Cybersecurity. From a young age, I have been exposed to the tech field, which inspired me to attend a high school specializing in career and college readiness for my desired career. Being surrounded by technology has fueled my passion for being an adventurous person, and I strive to continue exploring new opportunities to reconnect society and address pressing challenges.

I am passionate about arts, technology, and celebrating cultural diversity. With an adventurous spirit and an creative passion, I bring a unique perspective to my storytelling. When I’m not uncovering compelling stories, you’ll find me exploring the vibrant streets of NYC, indulging in my love for nature, food, photography, or exploring new hobbies like cooking or drawing. I am committed to embracing new opportunities and shedding light on diverse narratives.

Fun fact: I love hitchhiking—not in the traditional sense, but through experiences that fill me with knowledge, connections, power, and creativity. During my high school years, I have taken the chance to explore beyond my intended major, delving into different fields, which has shaped me into a well-rounded person both academically and socially. I look forward to just being the best version of myself! It took me time to get out of my comfort zone as I have always been shy but I will not let that hold me back anymore.

Through my work in filmmaking, content creation, blogs, 3D design, architecture, coding, and volunteering, I discovered a common thread: my love for expressing myself through various forms of media. Writing holds a special place in my heart, and I contribute articles to my school’s website. You can also check out my documentary! I love fostering communication, encouraging others, explore above my boundaries, and embrace my creativity. Don’t hesitate to speak with me—I’m always excited to collaborate and learn from others!
