Hi! I am a 17 year old, Chinese-American girl raised in Queens, New York, who loves art and design. I am an only child and I live with both of my parents in a cozy apartment. My family is from Hong Kong, China and Taiwan. My birthday is on March 16 and my zodiac sign is Pisces. I don’t have any pets but I love cats!
I started art at a young age and gradually began to improve my art since then. Since the 8th grade, specifically around Covid-19 time, I began to take art to a professional level. The drawings I did as a child that were hung up on the fridge suddenly became a painting showcased in Congresswoman Grace Meng’s office. I usually do digital design, however, I am knowledgeable in all kinds of art forms. I do traditional art once in a while, like pencil drawings, charcoal drawings, watercolor, acrylic, and oil painting. I can draw anatomical structures, character design, landscape, still-life, abstract, architectural, and more. My favorite program to use is Procreate but I have been using Adobe platforms more often now.
Besides art, I like to listen to music. I typically favor electropop, R&B, pop, hip hop, and rock. I used to take guitar lessons at my Middle school and I performed there too. Unfortunately, it’s been a while since I played and my electric Ibanez guitar is collecting dust right now, although I would love to return to that hobby. Additionally, in my spare time, I like to write creatively. I enjoy journaling or creating stories to share with friends. It is very fun to come up with lore for a story. With friends, I like to play card games and perform outdoor activities. I play Spit, Crazy 8’s, Chinese Poker, Palace, Garbage, Solitaire (pyramid version), Blackjack, Texas Hold’em, BS, Slap Jack, and more. I enjoy going rock climbing, ziplining, navigating through adventure courses, kayaking, and archery. Furthermore, I enjoy video gaming, especially psychological horror or dress-up games. I enjoy meeting new people through my hobbies.
